Community Care Works

Out-of-Home Campaign, Los Angeles, at Revolve Impact

A billboard gets about a second and a half. Budget data usually gets less.

Static billboard above a Los Angeles street. The cut hundred dollar bill carrying the budget breakdown.

Context

Community Care Works needed Angelenos to see where LA tax dollars actually go. The hard part isn't the data. It's making a number readable from a moving car.

What I did

I built the campaign around one image: a hundred dollar bill cut into what each service actually receives. The question lands first, the breakdown second, and both read at speed.

Outcome

Ran across static billboards, mobile LED trucks, and portrait testimonials throughout Los Angeles.

Billboard at full width. The question set to land first, the breakdown second.
Portrait testimonial panel. One resident, one line, sized for a bus shelter.
Mobile LED truck carrying the campaign through Los Angeles neighborhoods.
